Well he is asking what would you PICK so don't say random because he is asking what you would pick in these situations so stop trolling.
I normally random too but he is not asking about that he asks what I PICK so:
CP9 - too beasty early game and will shut every hero down, his shield just rapes early-mid cause whatever you do to him he does back and more (Shiki ulti you? np he dies too); however he needs to play 20 kills or else in 40's some characters can/will overtake him. But he is the defacto best 20 kill hero ever!
Alucard, Shiki, or Hitsuguya - Alucard is just one of the top 3 heroes overall, shiki is actually a really team dependent character (thats right team character! he needs to shut down late gamers and let his own late gamers farm), Hitsuguya is a good disabler and not too weak on his own but main thing is spammable AoE disables!
Gilgamesh! Insane late game farmer, best single target skill damage, scaling, and disable. Slow early game, no mobility, etc. but who cares when you can do 5X main attribute! 5X! His only counter are clone heroes or naraku, everyone else is fucked cause his damage is just toooo huge and cannot escape (don't know about heroes with invulnerable spells).
Other choice is Kisame.
