Sooooooo uhhhhh, when I play a strength hero I sometimes get 6 Vanguards or 6 Excaliburs and then mass strength tomes later on. When I play agility heroes, I normally get at least 1 of the heros' weapon to start off and then get follow through with vitality diamonds and agility tomes.

This is a combination of in-game variables:
Most of Strenght Heroes agree to this base build: 19k Tome up to 400 Agility (MAX Atk Spd) and Strenght, 2 Vanguards (then damage reduction will be bigger than 90%), and 3 Thorium Axes (Critical Strike Axe) -I keep a free slot to use consumable itens-
Anyway, heroes that have a Life Reg unic item (like Luffy, Cp9, etc) can rush this one, and then get Vanguard. This will makes you a little "imortal".
Unic itens that have an effect are good too (Inuyasha, Aokiji), due that the % stacks. Inuyasha for example, with 5 unic itens have 25% chance to make a target take 50% extra physical damage for few second.
About Agility Heroes, the worst thing that you can do for then is "rush" only agility and life gem (or lion medal). With this build you don't have either HP or HP reg. For then the best thing that you do is the 19k tome.
Some heroes that have unic itens with good effects are exception (like Sasuke).
Other exception is for heroes that have Agility based skills, and need them for farm (like Alucard).
Summarizing, the best item to any hero is the 19k Tome (that gives +100 Agility and +100 Strenght), but to Strenght heroes it is only good until you get the Max Attack Speed (400% of base value), with 400 Agility.

another char tha has a great unique weapon its ulquiorra since give you a lests say GODly regeneration but still 2 or 3 thorium axes suits him well cus' when he is in his resurrection form gain a crazy atk speed and a crit chace is a good idea ..... just my opinion

wow!mine is different early game i buy speed pot and stun kunai then buy vitalily then i buy boots then buy eye and then i buy 1 vanguard the rest i dun use the slot

For me in late game for all hero, i give 4 excalibur and 2 axe... Stats.. Depends on what type of hero he is.. STR or AGI

1 eye, 2 hp medalions (1 in case of stg heros) 1 personal item, 1 sword (in case of transf. heros (hi-speed-atk only), 1 axe), and 1 space for consumable items. The rest of my gold I spend it on 19k tomes (or stg tomes in case of +400agi stg heros).

I'll buy 2 HP diamond which cost 12k of gold (HP Medal 3k per unit, go to upgrade portal will need extra 3k)
second:
I'll sell all my diamond to earn 9k after i got 9k on my pocket to buy HP Necklace which got extra 25hp recoverfor each necklace, more you wear, more hp will recover, bot i'll only buy 4 unit, because i need 20k for buying 2 unit of charactor item.
